Something only KFu people would understand

At today's other kung fu class, we were practicing the art of Shaolin uppercuts and downstrikes (think Sam Sing, with that one side hit that goes straight down starting at the top of the breastplate and hammering all the way down the center...yeah, that nasty little strike). The exercise was to pair up with a partner, aim a punch at one point on the torso, then turn the direction of the strike to hit either upwards towards the chin or downwards towards the stomach.

My Partner: You know, your downstrikes are much better than your uppercuts...why don't you focus working more with the downstrikes?

Me: I need to work on my uppercuts more.

My Partner: Yeah, but the way your punches are coming out, it'd be a better hit if you went down from the center.

Me: I'd rather work on working my hits to go up. I've been working on going down for a while, I'm too comfortable going down. When I'm here {places fist on the center of his chest}, I'm trying not to go down on you.

{My Other Sifu walks by **At That Exact Moment**, and gives me a strange look while my partner just smirks at me}

Me: {few minutes later} SHUT THE FUCK UP, I DIDN'T MEAN LIKE THAT!!!

^^;;
